Andrew Kwon

Scholastic Associate

Andrew is a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Molecular & Cell Biology and Public Health, with a minor in History. Hailing from the suburbs of Los Angeles, California, Andrew has had various experiences in education as a volunteer, basketball coach, tutor and member of the Governing Board of La Cañada Unified School District. His passion for education developed as he worked with kids from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a member of Project SCIFI, Andrew hopes to provide opportunities for underprivileged students to find and cultivate their own passions for STEM and other fields. When he has free time, Andrew enjoys hiking, traveling, playing pick-up basketball games, and having cookouts with his friends.
